My experience with AIU
It was an exceptional weekend, October 29, 2009 when I received an AIU congratulatory mail on completion of the courses required for my master’s programme. This has filled me with excitement and took me back to the moment I decided to join AIU distance learning programmes.
My decision to join AIU and my experience there was one of profound and unmatched ever lasting influence. Almost ten months have passed since my friends and colleagues at work wondered why I joined AIU and why I have chosen to further proceed with my studies on distance learning-basis. Now they can clearly understand how impressive it is to choose a renowned US university that requires dedication as also hard work from students in order to complete their degree programmes. There are experiences and memories that will always remain within me, not the least the wonderful academic and cultural challenges I experienced during my study.
My learning experience with AIU has increased my awareness with the outside world and different cultures and traditions. Most of all it has provided me with the chance to know and respect other cultures so much than I had anticipated.
On the other hand, my study at AIU has significantly improved my language skills in terms of both the academic and social spheres. The support and advice I received from the AIU staff, the academic challenges and the relatively short time for completion of my master’s programme in English will always remain key inspiring elements.
