My Experience with Atlantic International University

Studying with AIU has been a most rewarding experience for me. Having completed my doctoral degree with this university has given me a sense of accomplishment, without having to sacrifice my family commitments and/or my income. I mean, sure, I could have gone to a face-to-face, accredited by the National Commission for Higher Education, university to pursue my doctorate. However, upon completion of my program and my return home, considering the current global economic crises, I would most likely be searching through the “wanted ads” section of the newspapers, while my mortgage, car and probably student loan payments went into default. Basically, I would have had to start all over again.

The flexibility of completing the Doctor of Education program at my own pace, coupled with the tremendous support received from my faculty advisor and AIU’s student services department, was truly a unique experience. The research opportunities were endless and took me around the globe without having to endure the high costs of traveling and other expenses initially associated with conducting research—thank God for the internet and its resources and for AIU for facilitating those invaluable online resources.

Having accomplished this Phd with AIU has brought to reality, a phrase often used by one of my former Community College lecturers—“the sky’s the limit”. When you study with AIU, the sky really is the limit, when it comes to the possibilities associated with accomplishing one’s objectives and achieving their goals. All you need is the right higher education institution and AIU is definitely “it”!
