School of Social and Human Studies
The Bachelor’s degree program in Linguistics provides students with knowledge related to how to differentiate speech sounds, how to encode ideas in a language (semantics), how language functions socially (pragmatics), how we can simulate language on a computer (Natural Language Processing), and as well as big data analysis of speech and language (computational linguistics), etc.
One of the main objectives of a course in Linguistics is to prepare students to provide them with advanced training in the field of sound, syntax and second language acquisition, as well as training in linguistic informatics and experience in presenting original research in professional values.
Our program does not require every student to study the same subjects and use the same books and other learning materials as every other student. If you are a purpose-driven individual who wants to elevate their life and make a solid contribution to the world, then this program is for you.
