School of Social and Human Studies
The Associate program in Islamic Studies aims to offer students three available lines of study: Quranic studies, sexuality, gender and feminist studies in Islam, and environmental studies in Islam.
Additionally, this program as a whole is geared towards an analysis of contemporary debates and issues concerning Muslims around the world. Students will also be trained to address the relationship of Islam to other religions through comparative courses in Christianity and Judaism.
Our program does not require every student to study the same subjects and use the same books and other learning materials as every other student. If you are a purpose-driven individual who wants to elevate their life and make a solid contribution to the world, then this program is for you.
