Main Accomplishments I’m a school psychologist, sociologist, and resilience educator. I teach strategies for conflict resolution with a special emphasis on emotional regulation and I’m a master teacher of the Golden Rule. I have presented over 2,500 school assemblies and reached approximately 2 million students. My training videos have reached more than 250 million people globally (primarily on Facebook). My expertise is resilience education and conflict resolution. I had the privilege of working in the Pastoral Care counseling office for almost a decade serving the emotional and spiritual needs of hundreds of families throughout San Diego. I had normal office hours Tuesday through Friday and taught bible studies regularly throughout the city. I also was able to serve as a chaplain for the American Red Cross and was trained in emergency response work. I had the privilege of working with survivors from the Columbine High School shooting and traveled speaking to students in over 7 countries. Office Depot Foundation along with the pop band One Direction chose to award me with a Youth Speaker of the Year award along with a $500,000 educational grant that allowed me to tour the USA reaching middle schools with the message of resilience. Included in this grant was the ability to resource hundreds of schools with resilience education programs that served as follow-up programming after my visit.
