Dr. Lucia Gorea was a keynote speaker in the 8th
Symposium on Translation, Interpretation and Terminology in Havana, Cuba last
month.
The topic was: Language Professionals: The Present
Challenges and Perspectives
Dr. Lucia Gorea, is an academic advisor at AIU, a certified translator,
literary translator/writer and has a Doctorate degree in English and Education,
with a focus on Linguistics and Literary Translations.
She is also the author of ten books of poetry, English as a Second Language, children’s
stories, historical fiction novels and several translations. Her books have
been published in Canada, the US and Europe.
