EXPERIENCE LETTER
My experiences at AIU was amazing and worth mentioning.
I thought that I was well educated before I enrolled at the AIU for my PhD but the challenges that I met there proved to be quite a learning experience for me.
One of such challenges was the designing of my course curriculum based on what I wanted to study for my PhD. This is an exceptional occurrence that is not available in most traditional universities.
At AIU, I was disciplined into thinking methodically and strategically and I went through my courses in this manner.
Studing at AIU truly makes the world a global village. I found studies at AIU unique, all encompassing builds and prepares students both academically, professionally and psychologically to face the challenges of our modern world.
AIU scores high with its holistic, student participatory approach which I have experienced during my doctoral studies.
The virtual library of the University has excellent and up to date resource material. There is virtually no topic that one cannot do research into with the availability of resources inthe library.
My Academic advisor Dr. Valcin was strict but fair, ensuring that standards were met and kept. The studies are meticulous with a mutual participating approach. Here, bureaucracy is disseminated, traditional bottle necks found in most faculties are considered old fashion. At doctoral level the emphasis that students must have a background that contributes fervently to their fields of endeavours is revealing at AIU, unique and admirable. I found studies very inspiring and I would recommend the AIU to any returning adult to Academic Education Worldwide.
Thank you for the opportunity to express my views on AIU.Best Regards,
Theunis Botha
