My work requires me to stay in remote locations, away from the most of the educational institutions of higher learning. Distance learning was the only way out to accomplish my academic goals. I opted for AIU because of the unique experience of designing one’s own curriculum to tailor academic and professional needs at one’s own pace.
Completing Masters Degree with AIU has provided me, above all, a sense of self-satisfaction and self-confidence. I am now more prepared and focused to work towards my ultimate goal of acquiring a Doctor of Philosophy. The courses studied during masters provided a strong foundation for further research and the necessary background to understand current research and experimental work being carried out in my field of interest all around the globe.
The unique ‘AIU experience’ has given an opportunity to recover my deficiencies in certain areas that are crucial to my current assignments at work but not covered during my undergraduate degree curriculum. Certainly, all of this knowledge and skills acquired during the studies at AIU will open new doors of opportunities in life.
I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Franklin Valcin, Dr. Nick Karimi, Dr. Jose Mercado, Dr. Lora Rosa Hilda and all Student Services staff for their help, understanding and attention in all the ups and downs during my studies at AIU. I am thankful to all and I wish to continue my studies with AIU towards the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
