This past year that I have spent at the AIU has been both challenging and rewarding to me. I have always sought an alternative to the traditional university setting and I am glad to have found this school.
Studying with the AIU has allowed me to be more self-fulfilling than I would have been if I was given all the materials and been given a restriction on what to read. I have been able to create my own schedules and really develop an academic independence that I feel is necessary when in a higher-level institution.
There have been moments when I have felt overwhelmed by the system and processes, but the staff has always been there to help me through most of my problems, especially in the process of planning and designing my curriculum proposal.
I have had a wonderful time learning all these things and expanding my knowledge. I feel very happy that I have completed my degree program at AIU.
My goal now is to utilize my new found knowledge and turn it into practical use. I want to use this degree to do good for my community and whoever else is in need of a fresh outlook of old theories.
I want to express my sincere appreciation for being accepted into this course and to extend my thanks to my advisors both new and old Dr. Gilroy Newball, Linda Collazo, my tutor Jaime Rotelwicz who made sure that I follow the right direction and for always address my problems on time. In addition, to all student service department for their help and support. I also want to thank Maria Serrano who has been supportive whenever I sent in western union for my tuition. She was always there to pick it up and update it into my account. Thank you so much for the good work.
Yours Sincerely,
Monica James Medugu
