Fellow Students and AIU Staff,
My experience at AIU has been a wonderful and rigorous challenge that has taught me the real meaning of the concept of andragogy. AIU is about self-learning and application in the real world. Self-learned concepts are retained and have practical significance to every aspect of one’s life.
All these other brick and mortar schools are about biased selectivity and profit. I am glad I chose AIU because I have grown as a person because of it. Who cares where the education comes from if it is quality education? I believe that AIU cares about the people who would otherwise have no chance at higher education. I could have be admitted into several schools, but AIU stuck out to me because of the insistence on educating anyone with the desire to learn, not just high GRE scores or IQ tests.
Anyone with determination can achieve the degree desired and learn more than ever thought imaginable. I carry this message on to others who struggle with the right school to attend. AIU is not for everyone, because it takes a lot of willpower and self-discipline that most do not have. If you are committed and passionate about something learning is the key. AIU is an excellent medium for those who desire to learn on their own and make an impact on the world.
Best of luck to all prospective students.
