My experience at AIU has been enormous and fruitful taking into consideration their new way of learning and academic pursuance. I have been a product of the traditional way of classroom and teacher learning and compulsory or mandatory curriculum for student whether relevant or irrelevant .
The situation is different at AIU where Students are made to be part of the curriculum design to suit their purpose of learning. Having the opportunity to design my own curriculum and developed it alone with assistance from my tutors and academic advisors using the electronic media to submit my assignment and receive evaluation within 48 hours was a dream coming true at AIU.
AIU experience has taught me to do my own research, analyse topics and do my own submissions in an essay form bringing my understanding to bear in discussions, description, analysing , actualizing and recommendations. It is a new way of learning to me and I have actually embrace it and can say that my great understanding of all the major topics of my field of study is far better and has prepared me for better job opportunities.
The flexible tuition payment system is also worth recommending especially for the mature student like me who may be having other pavental commitment and social responsibilities.
The AIU system of education has built my confidence levels in the use of electronic media in learning and research and I believe the credits go to the students services department and all other stakeholders of AIU.
Going through the long list of alumni at various fields of study and different parts of the world has also encourage me to feel proud to be a member of such great family from AIU tradition.
Infact the entire programme of studies at AIU is well planned and programmed that coming out has also open up new challenge in me to go out for other laurels especially in Social Entrepreneurship .
