I applied at Atlantic International University (AIU) in December, 2018 to start my studies in Psychology. From a nursing, Program management and leadership background, I had an interest in people management and thus the choice of study in psychology. The time I spent studying at AIU was very productive, I gained more knowledge, skills and in depth understanding on my field of study. During the time of my study, I got several acknowledgements from colleagues and superiors at work as my people management skills improved, efficiency in terms of timeliness and meeting deadlines improved, I was innovative always seeking for better ways to do things and shared my learning through coaching and mentorship. This led to a promotion that I honestly attribute it to my being a student at AIU.At AIU the student has freedom to study at their own FLEXI hours, but what astonished me is the level of commitment that tutors have, they call, email and even WhatsApp to check on progress, challenges and always ready to help. My tutors encouraged me from day 1 to my last day, they never got tired of my many consultations on and off office hours. I wish to acknowledge my principal tutor Dr. Edward Lambert, Cindy Dominguez and my admission tutor Joshua Ibitoye.Dr. Edward Lambert assisted me in understanding the requirements, checked my progress, advised and counselled me throughout. He was always reachable, Many thanks to you Sir.Overall, without any shadow of doubt, my experience at AIU was the best. I honestly did not like reading, but AIU has cultivated the reading culture in me, had developed my curiosity character and I can never be more grateful. Finally, I will sincerely recommend AIU to all, learning has never been made so enjoyable like it is in AIU. I will pursue my studies to the highest level I can in this same university.Sincerely Lydiah Cherotich Korir
