During Dr. Jose Mercado’s visit to the city of San Juan- Puerto Rico- he had the opportunity to receive a very important and significant award on behalf of AIU.
On that occasion- the Latin American Summit was celebrated and chaired by the Honorable World Academy of Education.
The summit counted on the participation of educators from over 20 countries worldwide.
He was privileged to receive on behalf of AIU- the Honorary Doctorate Cause for Quality of Education of our institution and also receive the VII World Order Investiture by the same organization.
The event was very exciting being that- apart from AIU- has recognized the important work of educational institutions including:
• The University of Puerto Rico
• San Pablo University of Guatemala
• Carlos Alvizu University of the United States
• Caribbean University- among others.
The Honorable World Academy of Education included members of the following institutions:
• National Assembly of Presidents of Peru
• Presidents Association of Argentina
• The Latin American Organization of Administration of the Dominican Republic
• WFUCA-UNESCO
• Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay
We are honored by these awards which encourage us to continue working with much endearment to ensure that many more students can cause a positive impact in their families and societies in which they live in.
