At the 24ths Annual Technology, Colleges and Community (TCC)
conference, Dr. Rosenzweig discussed the use of technology to convey not only
academics but to also create such a diverse student population that it can
become a mini United Nations because students from different countries will
share their knowledge and communicate with each other with the different
advanced technological tools that a university, such as AIU, utilizes. That
now, with the internet, a student does not need to travel to the physical
university but can do so from their home and receive the appropriate
educational expertise to graduate. The educational and cultural knowledge they
receive at a university, which has become internationalized, will not only help
them but will also help their communities upon their graduation.
In conclusion, Dr. Rosenzweig indicated that
internationalization is the future of education. That the utilization of the
tools at hand are priority for the internationalization of education. In
addition, that education should never become a burden. A university should
always look at the positive aspects of a diverse student population and to
always remember that education is a human right.
