School of Science and Engineering
The Associate of Science in Animal Science program aims at training in the core disciplines essential elements of animal sciences and prepares graduates for careers in a wide range of professions working with animals or within animal-related industries. The course provides a broad foundation in the biological sciences and instruction in basic science, research skills and the health, welfare, behavior, nutrition, genetics and husbandry of animals, including farm animals, pets, performance animals, wildlife and zoo animals.
Our Associate program does not require every student to study the same subjects and use the same books and other learning materials as every other student.
